Choose a source

The authentic capture shows Posts selected. It does not show an expanded menu or prove a particular custom type exists.

  1. Create or edit a GET endpoint.
  2. Open Data Source in Endpoint Settings.
  3. Choose Posts for post records, Pages for page records or a taxonomy for term records.
  4. For a custom type, confirm it is registered public with show_in_rest enabled, then refresh the builder.
  5. Select output fields after choosing the source; the available fields and filters follow it.

Custom post types

Register the type with public and show_in_rest enabled. Refresh the builder after registration. The selected source controls available fields, taxonomy filters and sorting. The plugin does not register a new post type or migrate content for you.

Taxonomy sources and filters

Choose a taxonomy as the source to return terms. To return posts within particular terms, keep a post-type source and configure its taxonomy filters using term IDs. Only taxonomies associated with that post type appear. Password-protected and unpublished posts are excluded from delivery.
