Identity and content
Name is the administrator label. Slug is the immutable route suffix after creation. Data Source selects an already registered post type or taxonomy. Fields select returned values; ordered field formatters transform supported values. The builder validates configuration before saving.
Queries and access
Per Page is bounded to 1–100; page starts at 1. Custom mode uses stored per-page, offset, order, orderby and taxonomy filters. WordPress Default Parameters mode accepts supported request overrides. Require API Key protects a GET route. Pro adds named allowed keys and custom namespaces.
Portable configuration
Use Settings → Tools to export JSON rather than writing undocumented configuration from scratch. Import validates configuration and resolves duplicate slugs. Content, ACF definitions, keys and license authorization are not moved by configuration export. Pro POST/PUT/DELETE endpoints require developer validation and action handlers.
